Role in MAGNETS

As the scientific lead of MAGNETS, CISM coordinates the scientific implementation of the fellowship programme and leads the research training activities hosted in Mozambique. CISM provides fellows with hands-on experience in malaria genomic epidemiology, molecular surveillance, field research, and data analysis while ensuring the scientific quality of the programme across the consortium.

The Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking (EDCTP Association) supports collaborative clinical research and capacity strengthening to accelerate the development of interventions against infectious diseases affecting sub-Saharan Africa.

Role in MAGNETS

The EDCTP Association serves as the project coordinator, overseeing the administrative and financial implementation of MAGNETS. It works closely with the Scientific Lead and consortium partners to monitor project progress, ensure compliance with the Grant Agreement, coordinate reporting, and facilitate the successful delivery of the programme.
